Announcements and EPSC Intrasquad Meet Results

Erica Wheatley

Dear Team,

I hope everyone is doing well! A few important reminders and updates for you:

  1. If you didn’t sign up for the FOX or FAST meets but now want to attend, please email Coach Tim ASAP at [email protected]. We need to finalize the lists, so let him know as soon as possible.

  2. Monthly billing reminder: Please note that monthly billing will occur on October 1st for all swimmers. This includes any applicable meet fees and monthly dues. Be sure your card information is up-to-date to avoid any delays.

  3. Thank you for your donations and support at the meet: We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who donated items or helped out during the meet. Your generosity and teamwork made everything run smoothly, and it’s greatly appreciated by the coaching staff and the entire team.

Thank you for giving your time, energy, and heart to this weekend’s meet. Every job—on deck, behind the scenes, in the arena, at concessions, shepherding swimmers, timing, organizing, cheering—made a direct impact on how smoothly the day ran.

Your flexibility, encouragement, and willingness to jump in wherever needed allowed our swimmers to compete in a supportive and well-run environment. For many of them, especially the newer athletes, your presence made the difference between nerves and confidence.

We’re grateful not just for the help, but for the spirit you brought to the event. Meets like this don’t happen without people like you, and our team is stronger because of your involvement.

Thank you again for being part of it—we appreciate you more than you know!

  4. Meet results & fees: Attached, you’ll find the results from the first-ever EPSC Intrasquad Blue and Orange meet that took place this past weekend. Be sure to check out the final scores at the bottom of the document—it was a very close meet! You will also find individual results attached, allowing you and your swimmers to review their races, track improvements, and see the points they earned for their Blue or Orange team.

  5. A note on the times: an asterisk (*) indicates a "best time," which means a swimmer improved upon their original entry time. For those who entered with "NT" (No Time), while there won't be an asterisk, these are still considered the best times in our book! As coaches, we are incredibly proud of all our swimmers, both first-time racers and returning athletes. Your hard work and focus in practice truly shined.

Additionally, unlike most meets, which have a surcharge and a per-event fee, the meet fees for this event were a flat $26 per swimmer. This has now been added to your account. Please note that even in cases of last-minute sickness, swimmers are still responsible for this fee. This amount will be auto-drawn on the next billing cycle (October 1) along with your monthly dues.

  6. Coach Erica is out of town this week: If you have any questions regarding meet details or practice, please email Coach Tim at [email protected]. For anything related to registration, billing, scheduling, etc., please reach out to Mercedes at [email protected].

We’re so proud of everyone’s efforts at the meet and can’t wait to see you all continue to improve as we head into the next events.

Go Pelicans!
